Site Mechanix has just converted it’s website to WordPress. While we use WordPress as the basis of our website, it seems fitting to use the added bonus of a blog as our own pulpit to preach all things internet. We did this because it is simply easier to make quick updates.

You can enjoy this too if you want to convert your web site from static to WordPress. Think of the control you will have to make new pages and update text and images from anywhere that you are connected to the web. As I watch the advances and the growing popularity of WordPress it would not surprise me if it became the defacto standard for all basic web sites.

If this is something that interests you, take a look at our WordPress Website offering here.

We will continue to explore more advanced CMS (Content Management Systems) so that we can offer our customers more reliable and powerful solutions for their business web sites.

To help you decide if you should convert your website, ask yourself these questions:

  • Do I want more independence?
  • Is my webmaster asleep at the wheel?
  • Do I want to create special offerings on my website and generate leads?
  • Should I become more engaged with my customers through my web site?
  • Do I want to cross link with my colleagues?
  • Do I want power at low cost?

These are just a few things to think about before you make the leap. Chances are your competition is already on to this concept and you need to head them off.
